Evonne Williams re-elected as Spondon councillor

Spondon resident Evonne Williams has been re-elected as local councillor for Spondon following this week's local elections.

Councillor Williams, who has served as a councillor for Spondon since 2000, was elected with a majority of 1,240 votes following Thursday's vote.

The full results for the Spondon ward were:

Vaughan Saxby (UKIP) 464
John-Paul Keane (Lib Dem) 117
