A free bulky waste service that has been funded by the Spondon Neighbourhood Board starts again in October following its popularity last year.
The free service is available to Spondon residents and will run on a first-come-first-served basis, funds permitting.
This service covers free collection a range of items and waste including large unwanted furniture items, mattresses, quantities of bagged general waste, fridges/freezers and other white goods. Certain items are not included in the service, including garden waste. (See full list of excluded items)
This is a time limited service, so please contact Derby Direct urgently to arrange collection. Call 03332 006981 and then select the following options:
Press 1 - Rubbish and recycling
Press 3 - bulky item collecting
Press 2 - to book a collection
