Methodist Church history explored in new book

The latest book in the 'Spondon Archive' series is now available, looking at the history of the Methodist Church in Spondon.

The book, researched and written by Christine Cameron, contains a wealth of information about the history of the Methodist church in the area and also a collection of some great archive photographs.

A full review of the book from the Derby Telegraph can be found here.

The book is priced just £2.50 and is available in a number of shops in the village or can be ordered from Derek Hathaway at [email protected] or on 01332 677377

Spondon Archive is a joint venture between the Village Improvement Committee and Spondon Historical Society. It aims to publish a series of booklets about Spondon past and present. Some will be original material, others will be re-publication of existing documents with an objective of making them available to a wider audience.
