Spondon Neighbourhood Board

The Spondon Neighbourhood Board is made up of local residents, councillors and other representatives and works towards improving life for all who live in Spondon. The Board helps to influence decisions which effect the area and encourages local people to get involved and have their own say on local issues. It also aims to strengthen relations between local residents and key local figures such as councillors, police and fire services, council departments and other local service providers. It aims to:

  • create a vision for Spondon neighbourhood
  • set local priorities and plans
  • encourage Spondon people to take part in decisions about their lives and community
  • strengthen the role of the Spondon councillors as community leaders
  • create better relationships between the Spondon community and public services
  • support public services to work with the Spondon communities.
