Welcome to the website for Spondon Community Association, now hosted by Spondon Online.
Spondon Community Association was formed in 1977 and is a registered charity (number 506901) that aims to provide for the welfare of residents of Spondon. It acts as an umbrella organisation for other Spondon groups of all types.
One of its major functions is to run the Village Hall as a facility in Spondon, built after a major campaign by the Association finally succeeded in 1981. You can find further details of SCA membership here.
The Village Improvement Committee is a sub-committee of the SCA and further details are here.

SCAN was a regular newsletter produced by Spondon Community Association.
In 2001, to mark the 20th anniversary of the opening of the village hall, a special commemorative edition was published looking at the history of the SCA and the story of how the current Spondon Village Hall came to be.
