12 Days to a Safer Christmas

Derby City Council is helping residents stay safe this Christmas with the launch of its annual '12 Days to a Safer Christmas' campaign.

They're posting helpful tips and advice around 12 themes during December on social media.

Keep a look out for information around fraudulent websites, what to do if you’ve overspent and personal safety advice to make sure your hard earned money doesn’t end up in someone else’s pocket. Pay attention to the tips to make sure you’re safe on your night out from that first glass of mulled wine to getting your taxi home.

They'll also be around Derby City in partnership with Derbyshire Police on the 4th, 8th and 17th December handing out purse bells, chains and defender alarms.
