Improved parking signage planned for Spondon

Following a recent parking survey completed by the Spondon Village Partnership (SVP) Team, one of the issues highlighted was concern that some visitors to the village centre were not aware of the parking available behind the village hall creating parking issues elsewhere in the village such as the precinct.

The Neighbourhood Board have therefore funded two new signs indicating car parking at the Village Hall/Library car park site including reference to the number of spaces available.

The indicative locations can be seen on the right. One will be attached to the wall. One will be mounted at low level on two posts in place of the existing single high post with an out of date sign on it.

Update: The signs were installed early February and are now in place.
