Volunteers needed for Live at Home scheme

Can you spare a few hours to help with a Lunch club for older people? The Derby East Live at Home Scheme is looking for volunteers who would be willing to help with fundraising, their befriending service and their lunch clubs in the Spondon area as well as in Chaddesden and Oakwood area.

The Live at Home Scheme is a support service for people over 60 who may feeling isolated or would like to make new friends, socializing and enjoying getting out and about. The Scheme holds weekly lunch clubs, trips out, befriending, holidays, advocacy & telephone support.

Spondon Lunch Clubs are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Chaddesden’s Lunch Clubs are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.
