This popular annual charity event returns to Spodnon after its Covid-imposed absence from the past couple of years.
It takes place on Easter Sunday, 17th April, and see competitors racing between Spondon's pubs and clubs in the village centre.
The race starts at Spondon Liberal Club at 1.30pm and then calls at the White Swan, Prince of Wales, Village Club and Vernon Arms before the final dash along Locko Road to Spondon Cricket Club.
Entry is £3 per person with each competitor getting a free half pint drink at each of the pub stops. Fancy dress is optional! Signup sheets and sponsorship forms are available for each of the pubs/clubs listed above. Other fundraising efforts on the day include a prize raffle and blackout/football cards too. All proceeds from the event go to the Royal British Legion.
