Spondon's annual Remembrance Sunday parade and service take place on Sunday 13th November 2022.
The parade will form up at Spondon Village Hall car park, setting off at 10.30am. The parade will move along Sitwell Street towards the White Swan, up Chapel Street to Locko Road and then down Church Street to Church Hill.
There will then be a service at St Werburgh's Church starting at approx 10.50am. Following the service, the parade will return to the village at approximately 12 noon via the same reverse route, disbanding on Poplar Avenue.
Temporary road closures will be in effect during the parade but will be lifted as soon as the parade has safely passed.
Sharing the above information on their Facebook page, Spondon Councillors said: "Thank you to all of those volunteers who will be manning the road closure and marshalling the parade. Without their support, the parade could not happen."
