Spondon’s new Neighbourhood Officer

Mandy Douglass has recently joined the local neighbourhood team as the new Neighbourhood Officer for the Spondon and Oakwood wards.

Mandy began her role on 12th August, taking over from Yasmin Fazil. Speaking about her new role, Mandy said: “I am really looking forward to working with local residents and Councillors to respond to neighbourhood issues and develop and deliver, projects and solutions.

“I’ve experience of working in Spondon while working as an Anti Social Behaviour officer helping reduce levels of anti-social behaviour, environmental issues and community tensions. A large part of my new role will involve supporting elected members and residents in identifying and resolving neighbourhood issues including those raised at neighbourhood forums.”

Mandy will be at the Spondon Neighbourhood Forum in September and looks forward to meeting residents there. In the meantime, she can be contacted on 01332 643061 or by email at [email protected]
