Garden makeover for Haddon Drive

Young people in the National Citizens Service Scheme, in partnership with Derby College, volunteered to do a ‘makeover’ of the Live at Home scheme at Haddon Drive during August.

The project, organised by team leader Bogdan Lazaruv, involved 11 young people who all worked hard clearing the garden of litter, overgrown vegetation and re painting fencing. The project was completed within 4 days.

To enable them to complete the make over, they were supplied with fence paint kindly donated by Asda, anti climb paint, overalls and gloves from the Crime Prevention Team and help to remove the rubbish by Streetpride.

Many thanks to you all for the hard work and donations.
